How should i work out to gain muscle!!!?

im a 19 year old male, i have always been really active in like up to three sports at a time and stay active but avoided really sticking to a workout regiment in the weight room, i mean i would train for speed skating, basketball and stuff doing core workouts etcs but not really building muscle, i am 6'4 about 150 the last i checked(maybe more now cuz that was a while ago) i have recently started working out about two weeks, but i need to know what sort of exercises i should do to get the results i want.. i have a family history of being slim and i am quite skinny my body shape is great for muscle i feel like, i have broad shoulders and a v shaped torso... anyways i want to know what i should do to gain arm size (biceps and shoulders) plus forearm size( i have really skinny wrists) and i want to have more showing pectorals( my chest is kinda flat ) and a wider waist , haha so generally my whole upper body and what ways can i rotate workouts and diet for this to be successful, thanks!
